Repsol is consolidating its Internet presence

Repsol’s long-standing commitment to new technologies and the Internet, in addition to its extensive content catalogue which is available to users and its clear service orientation, have established repsolypf.com as one of the most frequently visited websites, with over 2.5 million unique visitors.

Repsol’s long-standing commitment to new technologies and the Internet is a fact that you can easily verify. The continuous improvements to the company’s Internet portal, the latest as recently as 2007, have already borne fruit: 110 million page views, over 4 million visits and 2.4 million users, according to data provided by the OJD.

In this respect, the page’s multi-content strategy will enable you to find specialist information aimed at users and customers, organised around different themes; the world of motoring, the home and travel. As such, for example, the house and home section enables you to comfortably access comprehensive and varied content on property, energy in the home, cooking, and activities related to the family and leisure time at home.

Likewise, you can easily access all the information on products and services and everything related to Repsol’s business, and matters which are of interest to investors. Furthermore, another of the most important advantages of the website, is its comprehensive foreign language versions in Catalan, Galician, Basque and English, in addition to Spanish.

CAMPSA Guide 2008, also available on your mobile

If travelling already seemed simple to you with the CAMPSA Guide, which contains road maps for Spain, Portugal, Andorra and the south of France, as well as street plans and tourist information for over 1000 towns and 2100 hotels and restaurants, the online edition had to go one better. As such, it gives you access to updated maps three times a year, allows you to calculate customised routes, look at maps and street plans for over 75,000 towns in Spain and Europe and locate over a million places of interest. Meanwhile, it provides real-time weather and road traffic information.

However, this service goes yet further. The CAMPSA Guide is also available on your mobile. It doesn’t matter whether you are in Seville, in Paris or in Bilbao, because if you are a Movistar customer, by accessing the Emoción menu you will easily find the CAMPSA Guide. As such, you can look up addresses, calculate routes and receive information on restaurants, hotels and service stations, amongst other things, from any place at any time.

Dani Pedrosa’s Blog

Motorsport lovers have a leisure, information and service area on the Repsol portal. Dani Pedrosa’s Blog enables you to learn everything about competitions and his experiences as a driver first-hand. The blog, which had received over 1200 positive comments after the publication of just six posts, is divided into three categories; one devoted to Gran Prix, another about what happens in the races and one about the Honda RC212V motorbike. This blog also gives you access to the Repsol Honda Team mechanics’ blog, allows you to see the driver’s motorbike in three dimensions, to download content for your mobile, and send good luck messages to Pedrosa.

Furthermore, if you are a true motorcycling fan, you will enjoy taking part in The Repsol Challenge. During 2007, 43,000 people took part. If you are not familiar with it, you are still in time. It is a game where the participants have to demonstrate their knowledge of the sport, and particularly the Repsol Honda team and its drivers. Participants can create supporters’ clubs and answer the Repsol Honda team’s questions. The Repsol Challenge will give you the opportunity to win one of these magnificent prizes: a Honda CBF250 motorcycle, and trips to various destinations, among others. In order to participate, you just need to register on the Repsol page.
