2008: Giorgio Pantano.Racing EngineeringVictory in Turkey and the lead for Giorgio Pantano
Giorgio Pantano is the new leader of the GP2 Series after his victory in the race disputed on Saturday evening at the Circuit of Istanbul, and the fourth position he got on Sunday`s shorter race. For Javier Villa, the Turkish GP was not too positive, because on the Saturday he had to be satisfied with the seventh position and in Sunday`s race he was not able to improve his finishing position. The Repsol driver went off the track when a rival tried to overtake him, and at no time did he feel comfortable at the wheel of his car.

And also...

2008: Felipe Massa.Ferrari
Not one but three times. The Brazilian Felipe Massa won at his, and his Ferrari team`s lucky circuit again. The facts speak for themselves as this was the third consecutive victory for the driver at the Istanbul Park. He was accompanied on the podium by Lewis Hamilton and his Ferrari team mate Kimmi Raikkonen. Fernando Alonso, on the other hand finished in sixth place trying to demonstrate that the improvements made to the Renault will let him aspire to better things.
2008: Fernando Alonso.Renault, Renault R28
The Formula 1 circus goes to Turkey this weekend, a race marked by the disappearance of the Japanese Super Aguri team from the competition owing to financial difficulties. After the latest race in Barcelona the Turkish track will, or perhaps not, confirm the improvement in Alonso`s Renault. The date of the race has been changed (August was the usual date) and without a doubt the Istanbul Park will see a new battle in a championship that seems finely balanced.
2008: Javier Villa.Racing Engineering
The World GP2 Series Championship this weekend makes its second stop of the season in Turkey, where it will share the limelight with the top category of racing, Formula 1. The competition started two weeks ago at Montmeló, with good performances from the Repsol drivers. This time the setting will be the spectacular Istanbul Park track, and Javi Villa and Giorgio Pantano will try to confirm that they can keep up with the leaders after their good showing in Barcelona.
