Valentino Rossi left his rivals without a chance of winning in MotoGP. He won 11 races and was on the podium another five times, and so win his fifth consecutive title in the top category and the seventh in his career. On the other hand Dani Pedrosa won in 250cc in spite of riding when injured in the last few races. This was the third in a run that may continue in the top category. And Thomas Lüthi won the 125cc title.
