The SCT and Repsol create an advertising campaign aimed at bike riders

The conseller de Interior, Relaciones Institucionales y Participación, Joan Saura – Home Affairs, the two times World Champion Àlex Crivillé, the director of the Servicio Catalán de Tráfico (SCT), Josep Pérez Moya, and the CEO of Repsol, Jaume Giró, have presented an advertising campaign aimed at bike riders to be promoted by the SCT in collaboration with Repsol.

The advertising campaign created by the SCT and Repsol has the objective of preventing and lowering the number of accidents involving two-wheeled vehicles as well as lessening their consequences, and without pointing the finget at the motorbike riding sector. The ex racer Álex Crivillé will be the face on some of the spots, to be specific for the radio and the advert for the press and hoardings.

This awareness campaign is part of the plan drawn up by the Servicio Catalán de Tráfico, which aims to address the whole group of bike riders who are facing an alarming rise in their accident rate. The slogan for the campaign is “Una gran moto exige una gran experiencia – A large bike demands experience” and refers to the idea that a rider has to take responsibility for what they do on their motorbike.

The campaign gets under way on Friday March 28th and coincides with the Spanish GP in Jerez on 30th. The press, radio stations, TV and hoardings are where the campaign will be mainly seen a nd heard, the campaign will end on 27th April.
