Jets Marivent sells its company BRP
Jets Marivent will stop distributing BRP products (Bombardier Recreational Products) on 1st October. These will now be distributed directly through the dealer network that already exists in Spain, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, UK and Eire. The announcement comes after the decision was made by its shareholders to sell the company to a subsidiary of the Canadian company.
This initiative is part of BRP´s European growth strategy, now in its second phase, which began last year with the direct management of its products in France. It has been present on the European continent for the last 30 years and possesses production installations in Austria (BRP-Rotax) and Finland (BRP-Finland), and has already created a dealer network in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Japan, Canada, USA, France and in Scandinavia. Both companies have promised to assure a gentle transition so that both parties can enjoy a continuity to their business as close as possible to the actual one. This decision affects all activities related to maritime products and Sea-Doo jet skis, quads (ATV) Can-Am", Evinrude® and Johnson® outboard motors and their spares and accessories.
Jets Marivent, whose headquarters are in Barcelona, has worked for the last 13 years with the import and distribution of BRP products. We started this business from scratch, together with our dealers and with only two models of Sea-Doo jet skis in Spain explains Oliver Fröls, founder and Chairman of Jets Marivent. At the moment there are almost 700 authorised distributors in 14 European countries.
