Repsol YPF

The DGT - Dirección General de Tráfico Traffic Department – has set up a special campaign, that will last over the next few days, to monitor and fine motorbike riders not wearing a helmet and to make sure that they wear one whenever they ride, explaining to offenders how important this obligatory accessory is for their own safety. The DGT is extending the campaign on roads around Spain.

The Gran Semana de la Moto de Barcelona, held over the last few days, has been a great success. The attendance figures are proof of this. Over 220,000 people went to see what was on show at the Barcelona exhibition centre and enjoy the new products as well as the entertainment on offer. This year's edition of the show has confirmed that it is one of the most important dates in the motorbike calendar.

The 2008 edition of the MotOh! BCN got off to a great start with a visit from the Repsol MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa, and he had the pleasure of revealing the new machines produced by Montesa-Honda that the firm has taken to the fair. The Spanish Repsol Honda Team rider was at the opening of this year`s Gran Semana de la Moto de Barcelona, a show that has attracted both professionals and personalities from the sector.

The Gran Semana de la Moto, MotOh! BCN, has opened its 2008 edition and hopes to become one of the most important events of the year in the motorbike sector. The best manufacturers working in this sector will present their new machines, equipment and products over the next few days at the MotOh! BCN, there will also be activities for both bike fans and the general publlic.
