Gas Natural also supplies electricity
Due to the new liberalizing legal framework in the electricity sector, Gas Natural started supplying electricity through its affiliate Gas Natural Comercializadora in 2000. In just two years, it has reached a share quota of around 3% in the liberalised market.
In the successive phases of liberalisation, Gas Natural Comercializadora has all the attributes needed to become one of the leaders in this sector.
At present, supply is for customers with a High Tension supply- that is, over 1,000 volts.
