The improvements in the fuel injection system, in the design of the combustion chamber and in the mechanical and audible isolation, introduced by car manufacturers have allowed modern, high-performance, silent, comfortable and less polluting diesel engines to be achieved.

This situation has contributed to the growth in the use of diesel throughout Europe, not only in heavy vehicles but also in private cars.

In Spain, diesel-engined vehicle registrations already exceed those of petrol-engined vehicles.

The phenomenon of dieselization, considered as being spectacular, has made automotion gas-oil the most dynamic project in the Spanish fuel market.

At the beginning of the 90s, Repsol YPF launched, in its service stations, the first automotion gas-oil which was different due to its additives and the performance it gave.

In spite of this, in order to anticipate and adapt to new technology, Repsol YPF has continued to carry out continuous investigation and rigorous tests on its gas-oils, in order to satisfy market demands and customer needs.
The fruit of this development, Repsol YPF has launched the gas-oil which all diesel-engined vehicle users were waiting for:

What is dieselization?

Dieselization is the phenomenon in which vehicle users start to substitute petrol-fed vehicles for those which run on diesel.

One of the main causes has been the constant technological development for the adaptation of diesel engines to the performance given by petrol engines.
