Liquid Petrol Gas (LPG) is a mix of butane and propane. 60% of LPG commercialized throughout the world is obtained directly from natural gas or petrol fields, whereas the remaining 40% is the product of petrol distillation in the refinery.
The composition and characteristics of the LPG butane-propane mix for use as Automotion fuel is regulated by the Regulation UNE-EN 589, with varying proportions with regards to its use; REPSOL GAS commercializes Autogas with 30% propane and 70% butane for light vehicles and 65% propane and 35% butane for heavy vehicles.
Autogas is stored, transported and distributed in the liquid phase. The aforementioned product is commercialized through the Autogas Service Stations Network where, by means of a quick and easy fill-up service, vehicles are refuelled. What is more, in the case of fleets, REPSOL GAS offers you the possibility of having an exclusive LPG storage and supply installation.
