12.5 kg butane cylinder

This 12.5 kg butane cylinder is intended for domestic use and has a gross weight of 13 kg. Its tare is of approximately 13 kg.

These cylinders work best in:

• > Cooking: cookers and ovens
• > Hot water: heaters
• > Heating: mobile stoves   

The cylinder valve has a seal rather than the traditional black cap, to ensure safety and quality. The seal has the following functions:

• To protect the valve mechanism against exterior elements.
• To guarantee the product's weight and quality.   

Cylinders with damaged seals should be discarded.

6kg. cylinder

The new 6 kg cylinder has the same characteristics as the former model. It also has additional qualities:

• > The valve on the new cylinder is identical to that of the conventional cylinder. You can therefore use it with the same regulation equipment (i.e. regulator, clamps and flexible tube). It is the ideal complement for current bottling and distribution systems.
• > The 6kg cylinder is ideal for mobile appliances such as caravans, barbecues, paella pan, fridges, blowtorches, garden lamps, catalytic or infrared mobile heaters, camping equipment etc.
• It has a capacity of half a traditional cylinder. It can therefore be used with all types of appliances: butane gas cookers, gas ovens, radiators etc., except those intended for large consumption such as mixted boilers, large heaters, industrial size kitchens or other similar appliances.
  

Where to purchase them?

The new 6kg. cylinders can be purchased during and outside normal working hours at Repsol Service Stations (Repsol, Campsa and Petronor) throughout Spain and the Balearic islands.

What are the requirements for purchasing these cylinders?

• It is the customer's personal obligation to have an installation certificate, issued by a fitting company,  even though this is not required when you receive the new refilled cylinders at your Service Station.
• When purchasing a new cylinder, you will have to fill in a consignment form with your details.
• When purchasing a cylinder at a Service Station for the first time, you will have to pay for the gas itself  as well as a deposit for the container. The same amount will be reimbursed when the cylinder is definitively returned.
• You may purchase as many cylinders as you wish.
