As part of the strategy to ensure and increase the competitive level of our products we are continuously working, both in Química de Repsol YPF, as well as in our subsidiaries and partner companies, to increase and improve our product portfolio.

In order to satisfy the most innovative requirements of our clients, we dedicate a large part of our technological efforts to developing special products that create greater added value to the market. In some cases, Repsol YPF manufactures and markets these speciality products.

In other cases, we provide "know-how" through our technical service to help customers develop their own applications where modified materials are treated, in order to make new special uses possible, the technology of which is controlled by just a few manufacturers.
