Foam rubber used to make mattresses, furniture and car seats (amongst other items for rest and comfort) come from polyols. When used according to available degrees, polyols make flexible, highly resistant and extremely soft foam rubber, as well as rigid foams for electrodomestic or construction insulation, and various sealants, adhesives, and triols.
