Designers in every industry are experimenting with plastic's possibilities.
In fields where plastic isn't yet used, new innovations are being developed, such as plastic batteries and light emitting polymers. Video screens of the future will be made of plastic, replacing flat screens with lenses that improve image sharpness. Likewise, foldout computer screens are being developed that may seem to be science fiction but will be in shops in the near future.
