The foundation's mission is "To contribute so that Argentina reaches the necessary requirements in order to actively participate in a world which tends towards integration". Its main objective is to support projects in the field of education, investigation and social promotion.

The activities can be classified as charitable with a business focus, pointing to developing activities which are sustainable, repeatable and of social impact, giving priority to the concept of social investment rather than simply providing aid.

One of the main and central themes of its activity is education, whose objective is aimed towards improving the quality of education by means of collaboration and contribution with primary, secondary and higher education institutions, post graduate training and the development of informal education.

Its main lines of performance are developed by means of open contests with independent selection committees and are aimed at sustaining grants destined towards financing studies in the country and abroad; supporting schools, colleges, universities and research centres; carrying out actions which tend towards supporting the development of scientific-technical research and professional perfection; establishing agreements with other entities on projects which fit in with foundations objectives; and contributing on activities which try to improve living conditions and the preservation of the community's cultural heritage.
