The Repsol YPF Company Vision guides all our actions:
"To be an international integrated oil and gas company, perceived with admiration, and focused on customer service and value creation"
For us, being a company worthy of admiration has a human dimension based on the dignity of those forming the various segments of the public implicated in and affected by the Company's operations, as expressed in our commitment to respect and foster human rights throughout our sphere of influence.
Consequently, Repsol YPF embraces the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and in 2002 adopted the Principles contained in the United Nations Global Compact on human rights, work standards, and care for the environment, promising to work in the support and promotion of these principles in the oil and gas industry.
Furthermore, the Company adheres to the principles established in the Declaration of the International Labour Organization and in the OECD Guidelines on Multinational Enterprises, as well as the principles and lines of action established in documents drafted by the Oil and Gas Producers Association (OGP), of which the Company is a member.
The Corporate Reputation Committee (CRC), in which members of the affected areas are represented, is responsible for drafting and following up a Human Rights policy, with the Corporate Director of External Relations, as Chairman of the CRC, reporting directly to the CEO on these matters.
The Policy of Respect for People and their Diversity is expressed as follows:
