Ethical values

Ethical values must be considered essential and abiding principles for any company. Such principles do not require any external justification, but are rather of intrinsic importance for the members of the company. They comprise the Company's irrevocable and fundamental values, guiding all our actions and behaviour. These values underpin the environment of mutual trust created by Repsol YPF within the company and with respect to all our stakeholders.

At Repsol YPF, we espouse 4 Ethical Values:

1. Integrity
Our behaviour must be irreproachable, based on principles of rectitude and honesty. We will foster a strict coherence between our corporate practices and respect for our Values.

2. Transparency
This implies the disclosure of appropriate information giving a true portrayal of our actions. Information that is accurate and verifiable. Both internal and external communication will be clear and timely.

3. Responsibility
We assume our responsibilities and act accordingly.  All the means at our disposal will be focused on achieving this objective.

4. Safety
Measures are in place to ensure optimal health and safety conditions in the workplace. We demand a high level of safety in our processes, facilities and services, paying special attention to the protection of our employees, subcontractors, customers and the local surroundings, with this principle permeating the entire Organization.
