LNG plants start-up & operation specialist

The primary role of the LNG Plants Start-up & Operation Specialist will be to provide expertise on engineering issues in the fields of Commissioning, Operation/Control, Maintenance and Safety/Environmental Compliance of existing Natural Gas Liquefaction and Regasification Plants.

He will be accountable for:

-Developing Design Basis and Scope of Work for process studies, equipment layout/sizing, hydraulic calculations, …, in relation to Plant improvements and operational debottleneckings
-Reviewing PFD’s, H&MB’s, Layouts, P&ID’s and Equipment data sheets
-Participating in HAZOP workshops and operational reviews
-Re-defining process control and safety methods if necessary
-Supervising basic and detailed design engineering of Plant modifications
-Providing assistance during procurement/construction of Plant modifications
-Preparing Commissioning/Start-up Procedures
-Reviewing Operational and Maintenance Manuals
-Helping in Operator’s Training Programs
-Reporting on performed activities and recommending actions/corrections
-Collaborating with D. I.’s Project Engineers and Specialists as well as with REPSOL’s Business Unit operating the plant

Required skills and work experience are as follows:

- 4- 7 years experience in LNG Plants operations and maintenance
-Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
-Technical expertise in Process, Electrical and Mechanical engineering
-Bi-lingual English/Spanish (850 TOIEC)
-Team-working skills
-Orientation to Customer satisfaction and Company results.
