There are two alternatives for Repsol YPF’s selection process, depending on whether the candidate has experience or not:
Junior Candidates:
There are various tests which allow us to analyse the candidate’s technical and general aptitudes, and gauge their potential.
At the beginning of the process, our reception team will welcome you. The selection process and the incorporation of New Professionals programme will be explained to you. Then you will take the aptitude tests and the English test (only for candidates who are not Spanish speakers). After that, we invite you to participate in our group dynamic exercises where you will work in a team with the other candidates. In order to get to know you fully, someone from our selection department will interview you. There are two aims to this interview: to contrast and learn more about the personal aptitudes observed up to that moment, and to offer you more information about job positions and conditions at our Company. Finally, there will be a technical interview. At that interview you will also receive information about our main projects.
As you can see, in order to make the most of your time as well as ours, the entire process takes place on the same day. This also shortens the time you need to wait for results (it should not take more than 20 days).
Senior Candidates:
The selection process consists of three interviews given on the same day. Although the order may vary, in this session you will be interviewed by the selection department, international hiring department, and a technical Recruiter. There are two aims to this interview: to compare and learn more about the personal aptitudes observed up to that moment, and to offer you more information about job positions and conditions at our Company.
Then, you will have a technical interview from one of our leading departmental experts.
Finally, our International Employment department will inform you of the economic and social benefits that Repsol YPF offers its employees.
The process lasts approximately 2 and a half hours and you will hear from us within 20 days.
In order to make the process easier, we have video conferencing facilities which will allow us to interview you wherever you are. Therefore you will not have to ask for time off from work or travel here.
